About the tour
Humantay Lake is a turquoise mirror at 4,200 m, fed by the glacier of the mountain of the same name, with Salkantay (6,271 m) close by. You leave Cusco at 4:30 am, have breakfast in Mollepata and hike about 1.5 hours uphill to the shore. You're back in Cusco around 5:00 pm.

4:30 am: hotel pickup. Drive to Mollepata for breakfast, then on to the trailhead. 1.5-hour hike to Humantay Lake, free time for photos and an optional ceremony. Descent, buffet lunch and return to Cusco around 5:00 pm.
